Вот мое мнение, высказанное знакомому, копирую здесь:
This is very funny! Amazon marketing guys are cool.
I'm pretty sure it's just a publicity stunt and a viral marketing video. Radio-controlled aircraft are one of my hobbies. Let's just say that a quad-copter like that can only fly in perfect weather with almost no wind whatsoever, and on a single battery it only lasts 15-20 minutes. Also, if this drone would land into a person, the blades would cut very deeply and make serious injuries. There were lethal incidents with heavier RC model airplanes and helis. And if electronics fail it would fall out of the sky and can kill someone with its weight and spinning blades. There is a zero change any company would take such responsibility and opening itself to litigation, even if it were technically and logistically possible, which it is not.
Ну и стоит добавить что автономно они летать и садиться по заданному адресу в таких непредсказуемых условиях не умеют, а дистанционное управление пилотом каждого дрона не очень реально в таком формате с точки зрения логистики и технологии. Я уже не говорю о том, что их тут-же начнут сбивать ради забавы и желания заполучить себе товар без риска.
Короче, отлично всех развели ребята, молодцы!
